Dr Kaitlin Chandrarajan

Originally from Canada, Dr Kaitlin decided to pursue her medical education at University of Queensland in 2013. The sun, warmth, sea and beautiful Australian people, convinced her to stay after graduating. After four years of working in the hospital, Dr Kaitlin decided to follow in her father’s footsteps, and branch out to community medicine. Dr Kaitlin says that she is thankful for the opportunity that she has been given at Plaza Family Health as she undertakes her GP training. Her interests remain quite broad at the moment, but she particularly enjoys paediatrics, cardiology and palliative care. Dr Kaitlin looks forward to meeting more patients and exploring more of Cairns as the year progresses.
